Army Major Chris Abbott deployed to Iraq in March for a 15 month tour of duty. It's his second deployment to the country. And that means it's the second time his family is living life without him for more than a year. Chris and Robin Abbott have two kids- 7 year old Ellie and 4 year old Simon. Robin Abbott has been keeping an audio diary since Chris deployed. Yasmeen Khan produced this first installment.
