College for students from every background is more common today than it was 30 years ago. But if you’re thinking white columns and ivy covered halls, think again. More and more students - especially students from low income and minority families - are choosing less traditional routes to higher education. Most everyone agrees that any college is better than none. But some students may be learning to dream small. Laura Leslie reports for our series "North Carolina Voices: Considering College."
