Many famous singers call North Carolina home in between tours and making recordings--from gospel great Shirley Caesar to country crooner Randy Travis. The Tar Heel state is well represented in the world of opera too: Anthony Dean Griffey of High Point is an internationally renowned tenor who performs in concert halls around the world.
