When she passed away last January, Kay Yow left a legacy that will be long remembered. She won more than 700 games, most of them as the N.C. State women’s basketball coach. She led the U.S. Olympic team to the gold medal. And her 20-year battle with breast cancer inspired anyone who has dealt with that terrible disease.
A few months after Yow’s death, new coach Kellie Harper is forging her own identity… with a little help.
