For the past decade, manufacturers have struggled to keep up with global economic realities. Furniture makers and textile companies have moved hundreds of thousands of jobs overseas leaving many North Carolina towns to fade in their wake. But those communities have started to rebound. Thanks to fuel prices, even some of those manufacturing jobs many thought were gone forever are trickling back, as well. Dave DeWitt reports.
