Lt. Gov and Senate President Bev Perdue didn't mince words today when she confessed she'd stopped paying attention to a long-winded budget speech by Sen. Bob Rucho (R-Meck):
"Senator Rucho, that's no disrespect. If you sat up here and heard some of this, you'd stop listening, too. "
