Wed late: Two clarifications from Garrett

This just in from Garrett Perdue regarding my story on his traffic troubles earlier today.
First, my wife owns the FourRunner. I unintentionally mischaracterized my control over the vehicle. We own a Tahoe, which I'd been driving since we bought it, and we'd just switched cars prior to the initial ticketing. In my mind, I wasn't as aware of what was going on with that car as I was with the Tahoe. In the real world, it makes no difference and I am ultimately responsible. I apologize for the mischaracterization. It was unintentional and I did not realize the importance of the point until I saw the statement in print.
Two, I have a license. Just after the second ticketing, and before my case was heard, I was able to have my license re-instated by the DMV. The Court allowed me to keep my license subject to the completion of my community service requirement.
So, for the dozen or so of you who've emailed me to ask -- yes, Garrett Perdue is street-legal.
