Last week, Rep. Deborah Ross (D-Wake) asked her fellow members to wear red today- ties for men, shoes for women. It's meant to welcome Rep. Becky Carney (D-Meck) back to Jones St. Carney's expected to return today after suffering cardiac arrest in her office here a week and a half ago.
Anyway, there's plenty of red down here, as you'd imagine. But the Legislative Fashion Plate award has to go to DOR liaison Michael Houser, sporting a red tie and some fabulous matching Crocs.

UPDATE: Rep. Carney's LA says she isn't back just yet. She's taking it a day at a time, but she's hopeful she'll be back this week. Get well soon, Rep.!
