Tues: Go Heels! and a budget

You know, there oughta be a law against rolling out a budget the same day an NC school plays a national title game. Congrats to the Tar Heels for a great performance and an amazing season! The team's due back at RDU around 1:00 this afternoon, and the homecoming celebration is at 2:00pm.
The Senate draft budget proposal is available online here for your perusal. McClatchy's Mark Johnson and Ben Niolet have a summary here, while Greensboro's Mark Binker and Brian Ewing have the Triad's take, and Asheville's Jordan Schrader offers a WNC perspective.
