Earlier, I said the budget had passed the Senate on a perfect party line vote. Scratch that, please.
There was actually one even swap. GOP Senator Fletcher Hartsell broke ranks to support the budget, while Dem Senator John Snow broke ranks to oppose it.
I'll check the House vote a little more carefully.
Update:
The House vote found two Dems against the budget - Rowan Rep. Lorene Coates and Lee Rep. Jimmy Love, Sr. (Neither is in what you'd call a safe D district.) No House Republican voted for it.
