Clinton: I found my own voice

Clinton walks onto stage. HUGE smile.  She looks tired and happy and genuinely emotional.

"I come tonight with a very full heart. I want especially to thank NH. Over the last week, I listened to you, and in the process, I found my own voice."

The crowd explodes.

"Now together, let's give America the kind of comeback that NH has just given me."

The crowd is shouting "Comeback Kid."

She gives a quick recap of the "politics is not a game" speech, talking about mortgage foreclosures, health care, and the rising price of college. "Too many have been invisible for too long. Well, you are not invisible to me."

"I intend to be a president who puts you first - your lives, your families, your children, your futures...So we're going to take what we learned here in NH, and we're going to rally on, and make our case. We are in it for the long run."  (Crowd goes wild.)

She did praise the rest of the field by name, except for Gravel - Dodd, Biden, Richardson, Kucinich, Edwards, and Obama: "They've put themselves on the line, day and night, on behalf of the country we love so much."

There was, of course, one shot across Obama's bow:

"This victory will serve notice that people across our country know what's really at stake. That we will all be called upon to deliver on the promise of America...We came back tonight because you spoke loudly and clearly: You want this campaign to be about you, because there is so much at stake for our country."

A shot, sure, but delivered evenly and without venom. It's the first time I've seen her speak convincingly and candidly about what she believes. It was an amazing speech. Nice job.
