Innovations Desk
Janet Babin is the Marketplace Innovations Desk reporter. She's based at the North Carolina Public Radio facility at the American Tobacco Campus in Durham.
Janet brings the rich sources and diverse stories from the Triangle region to a national audience on her daily reports for Marketplace, and on NPR's Day to Day Marketplace Report.
The core of the Innovations Desk is about science, patents, biotechnology and endeavors evolving out of Research Triangle Park, Silicon Valley and other science hubs. But the Desk also covers innovations in other disciplines, reports on stories of regional interest for Marketplace.
