Actress Joan Crawford was famous for her roles in "Mildred Pierce" and "Whatever Happened to Baby Jane." The role that made her infamous was that of a mother. "Mommy Dearest" details the alleged abuse Crawford inflicted on her adoptive daughter.

While we're celebrating mothers this month, why not honor the most memorable moms in cinema history?  Who can forget Faye Dunaway's portrayal of Joan Crawford as an abusive tyrant in "Mommie Dearest."
