The American Dance Festival kicks off today. ADF's mission is to support modern dance, and as a part of that they commission artists to create new work.
This year, there is a push to get a younger audience. Jodee Nimerichter directs the festival.
"I have to say I've had a lot of younger people come to me and say they'd love to see more, but they can't really afford it," she says. So for the first time this year, $10 tickets are being offered for people 18-30 years old. You just need to show a valid ID.
