Yasmeen Khan

Yasmeen Khan produces the All Things Considered broadcast and oversees WUNC's Public Insight Network, a new project devoted to bringing more citizen experiences into our news coverage. Yasmeen received her master's degree in medical journalism from UNC-Chapel Hill in 2007. As a student, she completed a health reporting internship at WUNC and covered a domestic violence story that won an award from Public Radio News Directors Incorporated for student spot reporting. Yasmeen received a B.A. in sociology from Brandeis University in 2001. She worked for an international health organization for three years in Boston and in Lima, Peru. She has also held jobs as a toll collector, bartender and dish washer.
