Dozens of WUNC supporters and contributors to WUNC's Capital Campaign attended a post-St. Patrick's day traditional Irish Breakfast hosted by Fiona Ritchie, producer and host of The Thistle and Shamrock.  The staff of Tir Na Nog Irish Pub in downtown Raleigh got up especially early to serve a special traditional Irish breakfast: baked beans, fried tomatoes, eggs, bangers and Irish potatoes.  (Unlike the popular Celtic song, there was no "Whiskey 'Fore Breakfast.")

Music for BreakfastMusic was provided by the Raleigh-based Celtic band Barrowburn.

Traditional Irish BreakfastThanks to WUNC supporters who attended and made this event possible.  Look for more WUNC happens coming later  on our events page.
