The two leading contenders in the race for North Carolina governor will debate Tuesday evening.  Hear it on the radio and here online.  The debate between Republican Pat McCrory and Democrat Bev Perdue begins at 7 p.m. Tuesday.

General Election Debates: September and October 2008

NPR will provide live anchored coverage of the presidential and vice presidential debates this fall. That coverage will be anchored from Washington with NPR staff reporters joining from each debate site. Our coverage will likely begin at 9pmET, which is the scheduled start time for each debate.  The schedule from the Commission on Presidential Debates is as below and is subject to change:
